Not just another Valleyite “infiltrating” the great Metropolis that is Austin, Texas, Ms. Avila spent her formative years living in various parts of the country until she settled in Austin.  Although not known for her people skills, she was forced to make friends so that she could once again have an adoring - and completely delusional - fan-base.  These interactions helped mold Ms. Avila into the loving, generous and self-absorbed control freak that she is today.

Because Ms. Avila insists on controlling every aspect of her universe, she considers herself 'the most Mexican Chicana you’ll ever meet' or TMMCYEM. She has the requisite dark and lovely skin, lived in a barrio/colonia most of her formative years, received government assistance, got evicted from a middle-class neighborhood, and even dabbled in  farm work for years. Although independently wealthy, Ms. Avila worked in the fields in hopes of attaining that coveted morena look and cementing her status as TMMCYEM.

Confident in her identity, Ms. Avila went on to law school at Texas Tech in Lubbock after college and ended up in Chicago, IL as a baby prosecutor.  Chicago couldn't handle her 'Chicananess', so she returned to Texas where she is currently practicing law as a felony prosecutor in Austin.  ORALE cabrones, watchenle!!!

Ms. Avila came to a cross-roads in her life and decided to explore her options in order to feel truly fulfilled and satisfied.  She decided to pursue her dream of performing, being good at it, and actually getting paid for it!  For a while, she even became a lead singer, did commercials voice-overs and a few independent films.

The next chapter in this Latina's life involves marriage and raising her own little Type A nightmares.  May God help us all!
